"A HIDDEN GEM!"
This spotless gem of a B&B is only about one mile from
Belfast International Airport yet is hidden in a quiet
location, well set back from any roads. It is a good half mile
up a private lane before you round a bend and dicover this
beautiful house. There are three very comfortable bedrooms
(mine was a charming one on the ground floor - warm and
welcoming), all en-suite, with tea & coffee facilities plus
televison with remote control. A charming small lounge complete
with turf fire is for guests use. Best of all, the whole house
has a wireless Wi-Fi internet capability for guests in all
areas. Angela & Charlie, are the most welcoming of hosts and
nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Substantial
breakfasts are elegantly served in a delightful glassed garden
room with views out to the surrounding countryside. If your
honoured, the family cat will gaze at you from the other side
of the window as you eat! Caledo is perfect if you need
somewhere close to the airport or equally is perfect if you
want a comfortable base to explore the surrounding area. I wish
I had discovered it sooner - I'd have saved a fortune on
airport hotels!" |
